There’s something so special about college senior sessions. The closing of one chapter, but the start of the rest of your life. Graduating college is such a major accomplishment that deserves to be documented properly!

Arkansas State University Senior Session

We had the best weather for this Arkansas State University graduation session. Summer grad sessions can be tricky with this Arkansas summer heat and humidity, but with a high of 80 degrees, we seriously lucked out! One great thing about summer grad sessions is how quiet campus is. There is no dodging people in the background, waiting in line at each photo location, or waiting for crowds to clear. We had the campus to ourselves on this beautiful afternoon!

Nearly all of my Arkansas State University grad sessions begin at the iconic “A&M College” arch. Taking your senior photos here is a rite of passage for those graduating at Arkansas State University. When Haley told me she brought a bottle of champagne to pop, I knew this would be the perfect location! Champagne pop photos are always so much fun and usually end up being some of my very favorites from the session. My favorite trick for champagne pop photos is to open the bottle before you shake it. Then you can cover the top with your thumb and shake for your photos. Remember to always point the bottle away from yourself!
